Mackensie Elliot An excellent photographer who has a talent for capturing “the moment”, whenever and wherever it happens. Growing up with an absent father and a mother who knows how to push ALL her buttons, Mac spent most of her childhood at the Brown Estate (home of her best friend Parker). With a rocky youth and the history of her parents’ less than picture-perfect romantic lives, Mac is far from a believer in happily ever after. She loves her job and loves working with her three best friends. Though Vows policy demands business attire for client consultations, Mac feels most at home in her flannel pants, sweatshirts and thick socks.

Laurel McBane Pastry chef, cake decorator and candy maker extraordinaire! Laurel is one tough cookie. After her parents messy, financially-devastating divorce in high school, Laurel was taken under the wing of Parker’s family. Working various jobs to get through life, Laurel made it to culinary school, but not without the additional support from Mrs. Grady, the Brown’s housekeeper. She is disciplined in all she does, be it work, exercise, friendship or fun. Her loyalty is to those she loves and who love her in return. Cross her once - ok, but cross her twice and watch out!

Parker Brown Known as the “boss” by her three best friends and co-founders of Vows, Connecticut’s premiere wedding planning company, Parker is the glue that holds it all together. As a clear Type A, she thrives in an environment where everything is organized, efficient, and meticulous - living up to the phrase coined by her friends, “Perfectly Parker”. Parker is known for staying cool in the face of crisis and has a knack for negotiating her way through any situation. She is the essence of elegance and class. Since losing both parents in a terrible accident, Parker’s childhood home, the Brown Estate, has become the perfect backdrop for Vows.

Emmaline Grant A friendly, kind, and unmistakably romantic woman, Emma is a dreamer. She loves springtime and believes that when flowers are in bloom, the world is a beautiful place. Her responsibilities at Vows revolve around floral design and event décor. Because of her extraordinary talent, Parker has given her full reign over the landscaping and gardening throughout the entire Brown Estate. While busy creating natural masterpieces, Emma often escapes in thoughts of Prince Charming, dancing in the moonlight and everlasting love. The other girls often tease her outrageous dating behavior and her extensive “laundry list” of men.

Carter Maguire Carter teaches school at the private academy he and the girls attended as children. Intelligent, patient and deeply caring, he is well liked by his students and highly motivated to help them succeed. Like Emma, Carter faces the downfall of being “too nice” - often stepped on, taken advantage of, or otherwise mistreated by women. His unfortunately clumsy and goofy behavior, make him somewhat of a “nerd” to most. These, however, are a few of the wonderful things that some, or someone, may find to be his most attractive and sexy qualities.
